Color Inspiration: Spent Petals

I really like how well composed this photo is. The colors and depth of field is just lovely.

The photographer labrancaro says:

"I was trying to get the flower really sharp, and all the petals on the ground to be dappled in the background. I'm trying to use the shallow depth of field to make subjects come forward almost three dimensionally."
